SUMMARY

While A true Christian must begin with believing that Jesus is the Christ, they must equally be consistent in following the teachings of Christ. However, in order to follow his teachings one must know and understand the message he taught as well as the personal claims that he made regarding his identity and origin. Jesus made significant claims regarding his relationship to the CREATOR (The GOD of Israel) and he did supernatural works among men to confirm the things that he claimed. One of the first requirements to becoming a Christian is having the belief in Jesus' claims regarding his Sonship and Authority with the CREATOR. If you are not fully knowledgeable or completely oblivious to his claims, how then are you to believe his claims? This is a critical factor in the foundation and growth regarding Christianity. For the very essence of the Christian/disciple of Jesus is that ....they believe him. Every. Single. Word. A follower is not divided in loyalty. He is either wholly devoted...or he is disloyal akin to the term "two-faced"; one, whom Jesus stated as being unfit for the Kingdom of God (Luke 9:62, KJV); Clearly stating that he is not interested in you as a worthy servant of his, being incompetent and unqualified.

In simplicity, the very term "Christian" means a person who steadfastly follows the teachings of Christ. This is quite clear and uncomplicated. If you do not know or are not following his teachings you cannot logically or truthfully label yourself a "Christian". "...and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?" (Romans 10:14, KJV). So to start, one must first come to terms with the reality of what your actions reveal. Do you your actions reveal that you are a steadfast follower of Christ's teachings? Do you know his teachings? Do you recognize what it is that you are following?

In answering these questions, you will get to the heart of the nature of your soul. The truth about who you are as a person and where you stand spiritually in this matter concerning Christianity and your relationship with Christ according to the New Testament.

Let us move forward and uncover the 2nd Pillar according to scriptures that form the framework of Christianity and identify the true Christian. There are Five Scriptural Pillars that mark what Jesus deems a true believer/follower of his, and each one increase in difficulty revealing only those with a fervent and true heart to serve him. Are you among the worthy?
